A FEMALE FIGURE.
....is seen dancing in space (hologram): refractions of colour and light surround the room. The wings gracefully animating leaving a motion blur of movement past. The images within the wings created from moving footage multiple layered of distorted city in brilliant colour: the park, people, fauna, day & night. Expressing the life and colour of the city. The female figure transforms into a bird of forms: surreal. The audience glimpse faint images of the mask on the female figure, remnant bird icons past or in the future.?

Expresando la vida y el color de la ciudad. La figura femenina se transforma en un pájaro de formas: surrealista. City life continues to grow! With the emergence of new technology more people are relocating to the cities from every corner of the world. Migrating to new locations in far corners of the globe, seasonal traveling following trends set out by new technologies and cheaper international transport. Travel and communication has always been a focal point in all religions and cultures of the past. Are we now forming a united new culture and religion for the future?

¡La vida en la ciudad sigue creciendo! Con la aparición de nuevas tecnologías, más personas se están trasladando a las ciudades desde todos los rincones del mundo. Migrar a nuevos lugares en rincones lejanos del mundo, viajar estacionalmente siguiendo las tendencias marcadas por las nuevas tecnologías y el transporte internacional más barato. Los viajes y la comunicación siempre han sido un punto focal en todas las religiones y culturas del pasado. ¿Estamos formando ahora una nueva cultura y religión unidas para el futuro?

"Birds in the City" is an artist’s view of migrant people in a city expressed through birds. Who have: were flying above us long before we created our cities and who have always influenced us through icons of culture and religion.
Set within a digital platform of multiple screens, light and imagery both static and moving. An environment will be created for reflection and comment.

CONCEPTO ORIGINALAÚN EN DESARROLLO
"Birds in the City" is an art installation concept by Nick Shatford. Using light and image manipulation, sculpture and time based sequences.
A complete digital experience created and adapted from the original concept created in Auckland, New Zealand for a Jazz/ Art production within the port of Auckland during the America's Cup. The production was to create a temporary base and foundation for people to add comment, discuss and expand, while immersed within the production itself.
"Birds in the City" es un concepto de instalación artística de Nick Shatford. Utilizando manipulación de luz e imagen, escultura y secuencias basadas en el tiempo.
Una experiencia digital completa creada y adaptada del concepto original creado en Auckland, Nueva Zelanda para una producción de Jazz/Arte dentro del puerto de Auckland durante la Copa América. La producción debía crear una base y un fundamento temporal para que las personas pudieran agregar comentarios, discutir y expandirse, mientras estaban inmersas en la producción misma.
